In this high-stakes storytelling showdown, each comic steps up with a story--some are outrageous, others oddly believable--but there's one question in everyone's mind: are they telling the truth, or is it all a lie? After each story, the host and audience join forces to interrogate the comic, asking clever questions to trip them up and reveal the truth. The comic's goal? Stick to their story, whether it's real or a total fabrication, while dodging the audience's suspicions. Mike Larsen, a comedy legend, got his start in the 80s San Francisco comedy boom. A master joke writer, Mike’s work caught the attention of top headliners, who brought him on the road as both an opening act and writing partner. His career has spanned clubs in 43 states and overseas, with TV appearances on HBO, Showtime, and *The Tonight Show with Jay Leno*. His television writing credits include hit shows like *The Drew Carey Show*, *Grace Under Fire*, and *Ellen*, and he earned an Emmy nomination for his work on *Real Time with Bill Maher*. Now based in Ohio, Mike teaches a popular joke-writing class at Hashtag Comedy Co and mentors the next generation of comics.

Rounding out the night are two rising stars of comedy, Tanya Vora, Peter Schwartz and Hannah Romes, who are sure to keep the laughs rolling all night long.

Always known for being funny and keeping a smile, she discovered stand up comedy & has been blazing stages since ! Known for her hardworking nature, comedic versatility, sharp improv, unique style & likable personality, she is the perfect fit for any project. T.Barb’s favorite quote is “You Don’t Have To Stay Where You Start”, because she never allowed humble beginnings to dictate her destiny.

About Mike Larsen:
Mike Larsen has found success as both a comic and a writer. Shortly after a standout performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Mike was hired to write for the first of a dozen television shows, which would go on to include The Drew Carey Show, Ellen, and Two Guys & a Girl.

Twenty-five years later, Mike bought some land in Ohio so he could drive a tractor, raise backyard chickens, and find more time for golf and his true love: stand up comedy.

Mike’s act is as relaxed and varied as a front porch conversation. His easy-going stories cover family, dogs, life, love, golf, and just enough news and religion to get the skittish ones nervous.
